In Service to Seniors – Networking

By |February 9th, 2018|Categories: News & Events|Comments Off on In Service to Seniors – Networking

Do you serve Seniors?

If your company or agency serves our aging population in Windsor Essex please join us for monthly networking. Windsor Essex Networking Association for Geriatrics (WENAG) meets monthly to help grow our businesses and awareness of services for seniors.

See below to learn more.

February’s WENAG Meeting:

Tuesday February 13, 2018

Families First Funeral Home
1065 Lauzon Road
East Windsor, ON N8S 3M8

Time: 8:30 to 10:00AM

Thank you to Jennifer Wells at Families First for hosting our meeting and for providing coffee and fruit and muffins.

NOTE: We are launching a 3 month campaign to increase attendance for our networking meetings. Please invite people with businesses and services that cater to our senior community. If you think about it, I’m sure that you have a person or two who might benefit by networking and meeting other people. Connie Felice, from Chartwell Oak Park Terrace, is creating a large gift basket ($100 value) as a raffle prize to those participants who invite new guests to our networking meeting over the next 3 months.

The Meeting

After helping yourself to the continental breakfast, the meeting begins and each attendee is given 30 seconds to make their ‘elevator speech’ so everyone in the room knows what everyone else does.
If anyone has an event they would like to promote, time is taken to make those announcements. After that, the rest of the meeting is devoted to one on one networking or in small groups. If there is someone in the room you feel should know about your business or service, now is your chance… or perhaps someone will seek you out to find out how to hire you or access your services. It’s friendly, informal and always fun.

Door Prizes

Often times there are numerous door prizes… but only if the attendees provide them. If you can provide a gift card, gift certificate, ticket to an event or any other gift, please bring it!

Material

Be sure to bring plenty of business cards and any promotional materials you have for the brochure table or to hand out to other attendees.

Please RSVP to Peter McKeen – 519-800-3340 0r click here.

About US
Windsor Essex Networking Association For Geriatrics (nicknamed W.E.N.A.G.) is an open (everyone welcome) networking group that meets one (usually the 2nd) Tuesday  of the month from September to June. We are in our sixth year.

If you are with an agency or have a business or service that caters to our aging population, this networking group may be just what you need to make others aware of what you do and what you can offer.  And you will also find out about other excellent resources in our Windsor/Essex community.
